We take pride in our chiropractors who are graduates of International university-level educational standards trained in this worldwide conservative spinal healthcare profession consisting of over 100,000 practitioners in 120 countries. It takes International high school plus university between 5-8 years of chiropractic professional school, depending on the country, to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. This is someone you can trust with your health and the health of your children. Our doctors come from North America and Europe licensed and ready to join our well-developed clinics throughout the Philippines situated in busy malls to make it easy to find us.
Since 2007, Michel Tetrault, DC’s Chiropractic Clinics in the Philippines have treated over 30,000 patients, composed of individuals and families who go through chiropractic care for one of three main reasons: Pain Relief, Spinal Correction, Preventive and Maintenance Care.
It is our commitment to offer a first class service in today’s chiropractic care to the communities we serve. We are proud of our friendly & courteous staff, high quality equipment, flexible appointments and beautiful artful settings.
A private discussion with the chiropractor about your health concerns and your personal health objectives.
Determining the underlying causes of health problems and to see what tests may be required, such as X-rays, or if additional referrals are needed.
Consumers today expect to be partners with their health care providers and want to know the specifics that can help them to understand the course of care and to personally make healthier choices. The Chiropractor will report on the examination findings; on the nature of the problem and if the case can be accepted for care; how long the care will take; any lifestyle modifications that are needed during and after care; and the cost of the recommended care.
It’s been 16 fruitful years, as we celebrate 16 years of chiropractic care in the Philippines! We are thankful to our team of doctors, clinic staff, admins, marketing personnel, and most importantly our patients who we seek to create life-changing relationships with us, by helping restore and preserve their health. Michel Tetrault, DC’s Chiropractic Clinics in the Philippines continues on with its vision of setting the standards of chiropractic care in the country, and for the next decade aims to expand and provide more opportunity and accessibility to a greater number of people in the Philippine provinces.
Chiropractic is a natural, drugless, non-surgical health care system that relies on the body’s inherent recuperative abilities. The focus of Chiropractic care is on the Nervous System. When bones of the spine become misaligned or move out of their normal position, information flow from the brain to the body is distorted. Without the proper information the body cannot function to its fullest potential. Nerves may behave abnormally and cause pain or other problems.
Chiropractors perform spinal adjustments using only their hands to correct interference to the nervous system, restoring the body’s ability to control and coordinate its many functions, thus relieving symptoms and restoring health.
Chiropractic requires eight years of college study.
YES, it uses safe and effective procedures. Chiropractic is licensed in 36 countries and chiropractors are found in 110 countries. Spinal adjustments are performed on an excess of two million patients every day in this world.
The chiropractor will adjust the spine with as little force as possible and in ways that are safe for the patient whether the patient is a week old baby or someone in their 90’s.
As the jammed (locked up) joint is re-aligned, some of the gases in the joint’s lubrication turn into a gaseous state inside the joint producing a popping sound. This increases mobility, relieves nerve irritation and allows muscles to relax.
To the ears of a chiropractor, this popping is a most beautiful sound.
Yes. Chiropractic’s drugless and preventive approach to good health makes it perfectly appropriate for infants, children, and teenagers. Children are very physically active and experience many types of falls and blows from activities of daily living as well as from participating in sports. Injuries such as these may cause many symptoms including back and neck pain, stiffness, soreness or discomfort. Scoliosis can be properly evaluated. Chiropractic care is always adapted to the individual patient; it is a highly skilled treatment, and in the case of children, very gentle.
We would love to accept HMO benefits, but the current PRC standing excludes us from HMO coverage at this time. Chiropractic care is included in many other countries’ health insurance plans so some of our patients working for multi-national companies generally have coverage and many executive benefits will reimburse for this care; as do almost all embassy plans. Until the chiropractic profession becomes fully recognized via a chiropractic law and there is a local university that teaches chiropractic, it is not expected to be included in general HMO plans.
X-rays can play an important role in diagnosis and are taken only when a need has been determined after taking a patient’s case history and conducting a physical examination. Governments in every province have recognized the training and competence of chiropractors to take and interpret X-rays and have granted them this right.
